Adult who originally presented with upper abd pain; a carcinoid tumor was resected from the stomach and this is part of the w/u for metastases. The scan was negative, except intracranially.
Presumed asx meningioma. Carcinoid metastasis to the dura from the stomach without any positive lymph nodes would be reportable. Meningioma is one of the intracranial tumors that has increased activity on an Octreotide scan since they express somatostatin receptors.
