Clinical: 44y/o female s/p recent injury with laceration.
Dx: Discontinuity/laceration of the central slip of the extensor tendon centered 6 mm proximal to the proximal interphalangeal joint of the 3rd finger. The laceration also involves a portion of the ulnar/medial extensor hood (medial slip) with 3 mm of maximal retraction at the tear site.
