We are mindful that Exempla St. Joseph Hospital has been a staple of the Denver community as the longest established private teaching hospital in Denver, and we are pleased to be a part of that kinship.
As a partner at Diversified Radiology since June of 2008, Jerome S. Schroeder, M.D. was chosen specifically for his knowledge, experience and superior patient care to become the Director of Breast Imaging at The Breast Care Center at Exempla St. Joseph Hospital. Dr. Schroeder graduated from Medical School at the University of Missouri in Kansas City, MO. He completed his residency at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, PA and Breast Imaging Fellowship at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in Denver, CO. For the past several years, Dr. Schroeder has been a vital part of the Denver area by successfully focusing solely on Breast Imaging and the prevention of breast disease.
His commitment has recently been recognized by the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC) by receiving three-year/Full accreditation for The Breast Care Center. Accreditation by the NAPBC is only given to those centers that have voluntarily committed to provide the highest level of quality breast care and that undergo a rigorous evaluation process and review of their performance. A breast center that achieves NAPBC accreditation has demonstrated a firm commitment to offer its patients every significant advantage in their battle against breast disease. “Few centers will have better radiology commitment, involvement and expertise!” exclaimed the NAPBC surveyor in the Performance Report.
