Experience & Training
Dr. Horner is a Board Certified Vascular and Interventional Radiologist. For the previous four years, he was selected by his peers as one of Denver’s Top Doctors in 5280 Magazine. In practice for 12 years, he has nationally recognized expertise in minimally invasive treatment for uterine fibroids and prostate enlargement.
Additionally, he has strong clinical interests in interventional oncology (including Yttrium 90 radioembolization and tumor ablation), acute and chronic DVT management, peripheral vascular disease, and complex IVC filter removal. He is also part of a select multi-disciplinary group of specialized physicians at the Denver Clinic for Extremities at Risk treating osteosarcoma with their unique intra-arterial chemotherapy protocol.

Care Philosophy
Dr. Horner strives to connect with each patient on a personal level and to provide the highest level of care with established evidence-based procedures, and where applicable, cutting-edge techniques. Understanding that everybody is unique, he works closely with each patient to help guide them to a compassionate care plan that offers less pain, less cost, less risk, and less time when compared with traditional surgery.
On a Personal Note
An avid cyclist, Dr. Horner races competitively year-round, including road, mountain bike, and cyclocross disciplines in Colorado and nationally. He can also readily be found skiing, hiking, and camping with his wife and two school-age children.
